This week’s theme, lies that you have told your boss to get out of work.
you know you’ve done it. Sometimes, you wake up in the morning and know it’s not going to be a work day. Sometimes, it’s midnight, and things get rolling, and you know that tonight is going to bleed into tomorrow morning. When that happens, it’s always best to come up with a good excuse for your boss before the liquor hits your head. It’s even better yet if you can rehearse that call a few times.
You know that whoever you speak to in the morning will be doubting your condition, so your excuse should be short, sweet, and minus the overacting. Also, you can be assured that the office will be abuzz with questions of the validity of your excuse, so even if you are sick with ebola and bleeding out, expect scrutiny.
