In the spirit of this week’s theme “Lies you’ve told your boss when calling off work,” I have used Your Open Book to do a few different searches related to calling off work. This is to demonstrate a few things:
- Your secrets are not so safe on facebook. Using this tool, anyone is able to search for and grab status updates including the associated username. Kinda scary, isn’t it?
- It’s always a good idea to assume that things you say in private are going to be readable by the world at large at some point. Did I say always? Yes! I mean always!
In the spirit of anonymity, I am not going to post the usernames of the posters of these status updates, but I will most certainly tell you that I know who they are. Facebookers, if you are going to post things that you don’t want the world to know, you should probably adjust your privacy settings. This isn’t a sure thing, but it will get you one step away from wide open.
Without further delay, Here you go:
- called in sick today so I can play a little bit of MW2 b4 I go back in the garage for the dryer project. hoo!!!
- I called in sick to work today. Even though I actually was sick, I still felt the need to overdo it so my boss wouldn’t think I was lying.
- called in sick today coz I can’t hook up the new dryer yet, get, veggies for my baket, return my dad’s truck and can’t play cod mw2 until all is done! I should call in 2morrow too.
- Umm so why are my co workers trippin and txting me cause I called in sick ? You guys never say anything when boss don’t come in ?sooooooo yea gotcha
- is very angry at W.C. and Walmart insurance. I am still fighting not giving up. GRRR at them.. I still talk to them and not give up.. That is why I called in sick today so I have time to call both of them and debate with them.. They wont pay for MRI which the bone dr request…
- Finally day off. Called in sick; going to a concert. Haa
- Called in sick to eat brunch @ Denny’s in slo, just picked up a used COD MW2 for PS3 @ gamestop.
- called in sick today to borrow my dad’s gas card and fill up the RAV4 @ chevron, heading out to slo with my baket and rj.
- Thanks for all the Happy Birthday wishes I really appreciate them. Called in sick for work again today.
- Have u ever called in sick to work and then INSTANTLY felt better? Then ya feel guilty all day for callin in!
- 9 years ago today I faked being sick and stayed home from school (sorry mom). When I turned on the tv the first tower was already in flames and minutes later I watched as the second plane was flown into the second tower. I’ll never forget it. I can’t image how horrific it must have been. Everyone pray for the lives lost and for the lives of those still fighting to insure this never happens again.
Keep in mind that these posts only span a 12 hour gap in time. Wow!
